HRMS SCIP Plan

Saint Paul Public Schools is dedicated to continuous improvement. A key component of this effort is our School Comprehensive Improvement Plan (SCIP), which outlines our goals and strategies for the year. Here’s a summary of our SCIP.

Area of Focus: Reading

• By June of 2026, MCA reading proficiency will increase by 5%.

  Spring 2025 Proficiency Scores (Baseline) 

  ·       6^th Grade: 51% proficient

  ·       7^th Grade: 38%

  ·       8^th Grade: 45%

Area of Focus: Climate and Culture

The number of suspensions for students with an IEP (Individualized Education Plan) will decrease by 10% from May 2025 to May of 2026.
