Mr. Phil Sheridan
Hello, my name is Phil Sheridan and I am so excited to be the librarian/media specialist at Hidden River Middle School. I am also teaching the class Digital Media Explorations.
I grew up and graduated from high school in East Grand Forks, Minnesota, where I played basketball, tennis and ran cross country and track. I graduated in 1993 and went to Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota. After graduating in 1997, I spent two years in Brazil, teaching 3rd grade at the American School of Belo Horizonte, in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
I returned to the United States two years later and taught 4th grade at a small school in St. Paul. During this time, I got my master’s degree and K-12 reading license from the University of Minnesota. I have been teaching reading intervention classes in St. Paul up until this year. I am currently taking graduate classes for my media specialist license at Minnesota State University Mankato.
I love providing books and other resources in the media center! Please come in and visit. I enjoy running, listening to live music, shoes, hanging out with my friends and family, watching Anime with my 9-year-old, and, of course, reading!
