Ms. Margaret, Special Education Teacher

Hello! My name is Margaret Albers, or Ms. Margaret, and this is my third year working at Hidden River!

This year, I am teaching Reading Strategies, and co-teaching two periods of ELA 7 with Mr. Bailey.

I was a paraprofessional for the past two years at Hidden River, and this will be my first year teaching! I am looking forward to teaching and working with students and families.

More about myself, I went to Randolph Heights Elementary, Hidden River Middle, and Central High School, where I graduated in 2017. I have played the flute for 13 years and counting now - I started playing in elementary school band and have loved it ever since.

I have held a number of other fun jobs ever since high school, including working in the kitchen at Izzy's Ice Cream, a Rehearsal Assistant with the Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies (GTCYS), a Direct Care Professional with ACR Homes, and was also the Concert Band Manager while at Augsburg University, where I got my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2021. I also received my Master of Arts in Leadership from Augsburg in 2023.
